VIDEOMATCH / Intro 2002

Early in my career, I had the exciting opportunity to work on the intro for Videomatch, one of Argentina's most popular TV shows. Our task? Create a playful parody of Gorillaz's "19-2000" video, featuring the show's beloved cast members.

This project, developed over an intense summer, became a crash course in animation for me. I animated nearly every shot, a challenge that pushed my skills to new heights. Recreating Gorillaz's distinct visual style while adapting it to Videomatch's personalities was both creatively fulfilling and technically demanding.

It was a pivotal experience that taught me the intricacies of working under pressure and the joy of seeing a complex project come to life. The late hot nights and countless revisions proved worth it when we saw the final product on air.

Fun fact: Sharp-eyed viewers might spot a shot where the Jeep suddenly changes color. It's a little reminder of the frenetic pace and fantastic chaos of working in animation!
